first thing was to strip it and get those parts ready for paint.
I'm painting the tank, front fender, side covers, dash and headlight bucket. I'm also ordering a Memphis Shades Batwing, as well as a rear fender and saddlebags from SS Custom Cycle. |

Since I am sick of wearing my Bluetooth headphones, I decided to get some handlebar speakers. After much research, I decided on the Kuryakyn Sound of Chrome system. I didn't want a stereo that came off with the fairing, because I plan ride w/out the fairing sometimes.
$270 shipped. eBay.

Next I thought I'd replace the stock grips with Kuryakyn ISO grips with contoured Throttle Boss. While I had the grips removed, I decided I should polish the control levers, mounts and brake fluid reservoir.
ISO Grips: $60 shipped. eBay.
