amber is the only legal color up front but the rear signals can be amber or red. $4 sound good to me, i know signaldynamics sells a kit that looks just like that. they are insainly brite too.

The LED's are el cheapos from ebay. If they don't work to well big deal they were only a couple of bucks.

The signal colors are Federal DOT. Amber for the front
However, a few states do not require signals at all
