Hi!
I just thought I share som pictures from my ride in Norway and Denmark with my Wildstar (Roadstar).
A bit of a handful round them hairpins downhill  , but it worked out just fine.

The routes were:

A new owner is comming to collect the bike this evening, so the Wildstar times is over for me.
I will be getting something with better load capacity and space. Some more power, ABS-brakes and an even bigger fueltank. But I must say that the Wildstar have served me well, and it's IMHO a capabel tourer if one keeps within reasonable speeds. Only thing that bothers me is that Yamaha stopped selling their Star parts so soon! 
Next trip is bound for the Atlas mountains in Marocco and the Wildstar would be to heavy for the desert sand!
I know this for a fact since I tried the sand on the Danish beaches...

Those exact words went thru my head while watching the slideshow lol. Man that's a beautiful part of the world tho it looks like. I'd love to ride there one day, just don't think I could do The cold that well thanks for sharing!

Cold? We had 4 deegres celcius above freezing point at 1434 meters above sea level.
But my riding gear works okey, even at those temperatures.
Yep, the Sportster 1200 with 70 000 kms on the odometer made it allright.
but he wished he did not lower it so much at the rear
