Went for a ride yesterday with two buddies up the Feather River Canyon into Quincy and then onto Grayeagle, Truckee and back to Yuba City. Had two deer cross in front of me at two different times. First one ran across the hwy. and hit the back end of a car, went down and then got up and jumped over the guard rail. I think it had a broken leg. Second one just slowly ambled out from a golf course and stood in the middle of the road, looked at us and then went into the woods. I rode partially puckered most of the day!!!
