Not my thing, I had a 58 Harley with that setup. Too much screwing around for me so I 'upgraded' to a 66 FLH.

I suppose I could say "Real men aren't afraid of a suicide shifter" but I guess it's some women that really have the balls to ride one hard:

She's got everything under control, and is having a blast. Her face says it all.

She does have it under control. Full throttle if one hand, shifting with the other, and focused on nothing but what is in front of her. That's a great pic.
