Thanx for all the well wishes.
Lil Stevie came home after an April 15th discharge (he was supposed to be 12/04/07 but was held over in Baghdad) and has been going back and forth from NJ to Ft. Bragg a few times. I can relate to the separation adjustments (anguish?) having done the same thing myself back in the late 70's when I left the Navy.
We look forward to seeing him tomorrow.

 What a great DAD you are my friend. My son also 2 in afgan and 1 in Iraq. When he is ready to fight the VA tell to get with a veterans service oragnization ie American Legion, DAV, VFW somebody. I'm a legion State Service Officer in Maine when the time is right for him PM me and I'll get you some numbers in your State. Tell him thank you for his service from some of his now comrades that were there before Dearman |

Thanx everyone for the compliments. He came and picked up the truck just yesterday because it had to go back into the paint shop for a few days this past Tuesday. Needless to say, he was stoked. And, although I miss the truck, I feel better about the whole situation ... especially after she got all cleaned up. Unfortunately, she just wasn't a city vehicle. Now my temp. cager is an '01 Eclipse that feels like a go-cart after the truck.If I layed the seat down any further, I'd feel like I was in a black coffin. 
Oh, and imenraged, how can you see my wife's eyes thru the sunglasses??? 
Yeah, she does attract a lotta attention on the back of the bike ... especially in her daisy dukes and tank tops in the heat of July. But, I love her just the same.  |
