I've been undecided about a HD or Road Star, but am now leaning toward a Star. In the meantime, though I'd post a couple pics of my current bike. If it's not okay, I assume a moderator can delete them. Thanks again everyone!! Food for thought........ in 06 I bought my roadie silverado new and at the time, a similarly equipped HD would have been in the neighborhood of 8000 to 10000 more! Also, none are 1700's, and from my HD buddies "man, that thing is smoothe and powerful, and what a ride!" Sure, I could have bought any bike I wanted but if you really shop around, this roadie is very tough to beat!
