what is the best spark plug? 4 Months, 1 Week ago  
I have 5,000 miles on my 07 and I am ready to change plugs. What do you recamend as the best?

Hey Rudedogg, Not very mechanical, but I used Split-Fire Triple Platinum plugs from J.C.Whitney on last tune up. Gas mileage went up and bike runs great. These plugs are supposed to last a long time.

I put the Iridium tipped plugs in. Expect they'll last just about forever. My friend and I both thought our R*s ran better as soon as we made the swap.

My bike likes the Autolite 4164 plugs. Cheap too.

My R* likes the stock the best Changed to Autolite they only lasted 500 milles before they were fouling the stock runs great and a little less cost

I run NGK's, if there are good enough for my racing engine they are definetly good enough for my bike.
