As for the carb, I'm not 100% sure but it would be worth a try I would think.

Seafoam, Ringfree, MM are good products once your carb is cleaned first. I use Seafoam for preventive maintenance.

Ok, I guess I will take it apart again. Although, I did take a good look last time and the carb looked very clean. One thing I did notice was that there are two tubes on the bottom of the carb that are not connected to anything. One tube is smaller then the larger one which has a flared tip as if a hose attached to it. Also, I noticed the vent line isn't connected to anything. Is that normal? Thanks a lot for the info so far.

The tube on the bottom of the bowl which bends at 90 degrees is the fuel bowl drain.

The tube on the bottom side is the fuel supply line.

Two tubes at the top pointing back ..... on is large, black and has a 'filter' on it, the other tube (grey) is open to the atmosphere.
