Ok.....So how much work is involved in changing the fork oil out? Am I gonna have to tear the whole front end apart, or can I just pull a plug and it drains?

There are no drain plugs so you have to remove the tubes and drain them or I guess you could try a vacume type pump to suck them dry.If you really want to change the dampning on the front end put in the Progressive Suspension springs They really improve on the dive and the way that front end handles the bumps.

Here is a link on changing oil in forks while on bike. http://www.roadstarmagazine.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=237 I have yet to do it myself and will look at changing to progressive springs when I do.

Re:Fork oil weights 3 Weeks ago
I changed the fork oil last winter following the link Goodygood posted. It was not bad except for getting those two caps back on while compressing the springs! I ended up standing on a ladder over the bike with a cordless drill with a 3/8" drive socket attached to it and let it turn SLOWLY while pressing down. I just knew I was going to cross thread them but I lucked out and didn't! I mixed 5 and 10 wt fork oil 50/50.
