Yep, that's where mine came from, a 1600. Someone swapped out their 33-tooth for a 31T or 32T, and I picked up the old one.

I hope you meant 44 mpg, I cruise along at that speed all the time, daily commute to work, and just filled up 181 miles 4.1 gallons of gas, heavy handed on the throttle...which is about my avg 44 mpg...
and depending on your speedo calibration being correct you should be going farther than it reads with the new pulley and get a little better highway mpg..
guess thats why I would like a six speed with the R* lower the pulley to get more oomph off the line but give one more gear up top to cruise mpg wise on the open road..

See I want to go the opposite way. I pull a heavy trailer with my bike and I need a little more omph from the dead stop. That's why I was asking about Soba's old pulley.

Danny , you'd probably be a good candidate for the 31 tooth front sprocket. I receive e-mails from Baron's routinely , offering 25% off orders , making that F/S reasonable. Just a thought. BB

No, I average about 42 mpg regular riding. Once I get above 70 mph, it drops drastically, especially when I'm run near 80 for 6 hours. Hope the 33T pulley helps that. Keep in mind I'm running straight stock airbox, factory jetting, with a windshield, weighing 260 lbs, on a bike fully loaded for traveling.

32 would break my heart.........and my budget! You and I only had jetting differences (besides my extra 70 lbs of weight ) and I usually get mid to high 40's on road trips , well packed! Oh well, every beast acts differently. BB
