#110734 2nd yamaha (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 8 First oil change 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I just changed the motor oil and the transfer case oil in my Roadie for the first time. It only has 569 miles on it, but I figured that was close enough to 600. I found all the info I needed on how to do it right here on the Clinic. This site is great! I used Mobil 1 V-twin 20w50 synthetic motor oil, a Super Tech 7317 oil filter from Wal-Mart, and Rotella 80w90 transfer case oil, also from Wal-Mart. With that said mine seems to run fine on the 10w40 AmsOil synthetic. But I have also used 20w50 in the past and no problems there. My 03 cents anywho.
