Front MC catching 3 Months, 1 Week ago
My front brake level seems to catch when I pull it in. It goes easy until pressure starts, then it wants to slip, grab, slip, grab while I pull it in. Makes for a very jerky stop. I WD40'd all around the lever, but I'm wondering if it could be something inside the piston of the MC?

Have you bled the front brake to make sure you dont have any air in the system?

Is the rotor warped? that will cause a jitter in the brakes..

I'll check both of these. The actual pads/rotor seem to be fine, it just feels like the piston in the MC is catching when I pull on the lever. Its probably due for pads/fluid change anyway.

thank you, bled the brakes and it fixed it. still catches some but i think its just the lever and may need some WD40. brakes are smooth as silk now.
