#116378 rolieroadie (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 64 Oil Change 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I changed my oil this morning, drained the used oil in a clean oil pan and added 4 quarts of fresh oil in. Then I measured the quantity of used oil that I drained. Well, I am missing almost half a quart?????? Are we losing that much oil????? Although I did have the starter gear cover off 48 times.. I never get all 4 quarts back, but the scoot never gets too full??? Approximately one quart will remain in the engine as these bikes have a dry capacity of 5.3 US Quarts. Also the longer you let them drain the more you will get out.
