#117260 FROSTYDOG (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 6 06 R* running very poorly at start up. 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago   The thing pops sputters and backfires when running shortly after starting. Bike is jetted and aftermarket pipes. Checked the plugs Front are tan rear are black. This is a recent issue. Hasnt done this in the past. Once the engine is warm there is no problem. Any advice. I have no Idea what the jetting is. Was done at the dealer when I bought it new. The bike has 6000 miles on it. It was piped and jetted before I bought it. Other wise you could go ahead and get a BAK and see whats in the carb now. Its a turning point for you. Do you want to start on the performance aspect or do you want to go back to stock?
