I listened to Musky and others on here and went with Mobile 1 V twin Synthetic, changed my tranny fluid to synthetic 75 - 90, works like a champ, my motor runs quiet and I know that its cooling better. I love my bike!! Thanks everyone that's helped. Howie

Another reason I dont use dealers! I have never had 2 Yami mechanics agree on anything...EVER! Great training Yamaha.....oh wait ,..they dont send thier guys for training. Dumb arse me. Synth since mine's had 2000 miles on it,I have 23k now. Runs great, runs cooler, and you get a few more miles between oil changes if ya want.
