Usually the mention of any brand of oil will bring on a winded debate, but the fact is many people run it and like it. As long as it doesn't have any friction modifiers, you're OK.

I have been using rp for a year or so, changed twice.

The biggest difference I noticed for me, was the reduction of heat from the engine. Now after my recall was done, I feel the heat under my seat from that yami oil again. Yep! they poured out my $7 a quart oil and refilled it with something else . Yep! its time to change again.

Up north here, I'd say go with the 10w-40, but if you're in the south, and it gets to really cookin' where you are, the 20w-50 might be the better way to go.
