I use Mobile synthetic 20w50 V-twin oil. As a word of caution, when changing to synthetic, ensure your empty the bike of all the existing oil so as to no mix it (replace filter, empty crankcase and oil pan).

Even you deside not to use the similar oil I'm using, avoid any oils with a a weight less than 40. Do not use any oils with the words Engery efficiency or feul savings. These oils will not allow your clutch to work properly. By the way, you'll need 4 quarts if you empty both the crankcase and the oil pan and replace the filter.
