Ok you have confused me On the front right of my gas tank when I take off the speedo there is a vent tube that a rubber hose hooks to with a little clamp. I would think the tank should never get pressurized unless that vent is clogged or kinked? The same should go for a vacumm being created in the tank as gas is used. Am I not understanding something here?
