Hey R/B. Welcome to the club!!
No doubt you're dealing w/a carburetor problem. The Mikuni on these motors are great pieces. They are extremely reliable & tunable. Lots of good info in the tech articles.
Start w/taking the carb off,disassemble it & clean it w/carb cleaner.That should clear up the problem you're dealing with now. From there,you can re-jet or tweak the pump to your liking. You'll be amazed at how your motor responds to carb mods.

Roadstar_Rob: I'm looking to extend my driver boards out away from the bike. All of the extensions I've come across are for moving them forward. Anyone familiar with extension mod to set them out wider? Thanks, Rob
