#223001 rolieroadie (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 100 spark knocking 2 Years, 8 Months ago   Hi everyone, I got a little concern about my Road*, It started spark knocking lately. Same gas as before(87 octane), clean the air filter, still the same. Started using 89 octane gas, it seems a little better. Tried 91 octane gas, pretty much the same as with the 89 octane gas. Next step is to replace the plugs with iridium plugs. Cooler weather helps, but no amount of rich mixture or octane or anything else has helped. 5800 miles on it now, Cobra 2/1, K&N, Barons Jet Kit, Adjustable PMS, AIS removed. Stock setting, with the standard module, is said to be a 32 degree advance setting.
