That makes me feel better, I guess it's normal on the Roadies, as on sportbikes. I, too, can make a few hard stops & the squeal will go away temporarily but will return with a vengance. I guess I just need to stop a little harder, like this guy:

Subject: starter problems
Papa Bear: with a new battery installed, i get all lights and electronics functioning when I push the starter button, but only a click. No starter rotation at all. Prognosis please? Papa Bear
