There is a better lube for the task,i'd simply use a high quality automotive wheel bearing grease or better yet marine wheel bearing for trailer wheels that are submerged at times thats when launching boats thats even better suited for moist environments like when riding in the rain for those that are into that.

But either of those grease's will do a much better job then the lighter duty white lithium grease and they should also extend service intervils over the lighter duty white lith grease too.
