I'm looking to go to a ported manifold. Anyone know what is available. Can't find any sources for Ben Herr or Nemesis, only Barons and Speed Star.

Check with Curt and see if he has any that he has done or see if he has time to port yours. Does a great job and alot cheaper than buying a new one.

Go to the "Home" tab and click on Personal Messages under User Menu. Then click on New Message, click on User List and find "Curt" on the list then type away then click on "Send Message".

Man looks like I am going to have to start buying some new OEM manifolds and having them on hand.

Re:Ported Manifolds 2 Years ago
I'd take Curts ported one over a nemissis or ben herr anyday! And I got my Ben Herr for free! Problem is, it does not have a way to properly fit the carb end, it's a static fit. I HEAR only HEAR that they have changed this but I can't belive it until I see pictures. STILL problem is, the heat sucks from the jugs through a metal manifold, transfers to the Carb and ........ See "Puking carb"

After two years of fighting my Ben Herr, I think I have it! I was MM's from putting Curts manifold on and I have it at the ready! He does a Super job of a neat and clean port, you have bennie of the port and no heat related problems and no intake leak problems as you still have factory fit at the carb.

Had I paid for my Ben Herr I would really be upset about the 30K plus headach it gave me, Leaking at the Carb and heating up the carb and making it puke.

So my advice is a Factory ported manifold. Stock em up Curt!
