#291834 deadlion (User) Go Duke! Platinum Boarder Posts: 1222 Sears Red Jack - Rubber Saddle Replacement 1 Year, 11 Months ago   One of the rubber padded saddles on my Sears red jack came off. Most of the rubber tabs that holds it in place/on the jack broke free. The thick rubber pad/saddle has "Craftsman" on it. I contacted Sears but they did not know about a replacement part and are in the process of contacting the mfg'er. Anyone know where or how to replace? If I can't get a new one with the proper 8 tabs the main thing is holding the old one in place so it won't slip free. I welded it back on but it broke again. The model number of the jack is 875.501190 and the part number is "T" for the rubber pads. The customer help line for parts or questions is 1-800-803-2597 Mon - Fri 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST. Liquid Nails works awesome. If you use it on wood, the wood will fail before the glue will. They took my info and were to get back in 3 - 5 days. I tried 3m contact adhesive and it didn't work next will be gorilla glue held with duct tape till it cures. Smells a bit like the old airplane glues, but has some silicone in it to. I used it on my license plate on my XS650 (world's biggest vibrator) when it cracked. It held for a long long time. That would do the trick.. I forget the exact name of the stuff but it's something like "Seal-All" or something.
