Its not that hard of a job... you will do fine... just take plenty of water and a couple of Ice Cold Beer for when you get done... and no snap rings...

you first remove saddlebags (if applicable) then the rear fender, then remove the rear tire assy, then go for the swingarm pivot (you might need a fat drift, or block of wood), and prob remove the pulley cover.
then reverse order. it's an hour job, unless you have beer and someone is helping you, then it's 5-6 easy!!!

and i allways like perswasion bars too, sometimes handy to have a flat prybar...

I was assuming those silver spacers I see in there could come out, so I could just pull the pivot axle part of the way, tap out the spacer and slip the belt through, but it looks like I can't just pull that spacer out. I called Metro Motorsports in Glendale and they are gonna do the job while I wait for $125. At that price I can't pass it up. Thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate the input!

mate, donīt spend that money except on beer!

just knock the swingarm axle through and drop the swingarm. itīs a piece of piss! donīt try and knock the spacers out

donīt disconnect the shock and it makes it even easier to get back in and lined up.

honest mate, 45 min job, tops.

Good to know erizo I have to put a new belt on my 05. The dealership cut my old belt off when I crashed the bike. The bike wouldn't roll so they cut it off they never thought to check the tire hitting the smashed up fender and to air the shock back up to clear the fender.... DAAAAAAAAAA

45 minutes in 114 degree heat here the desert is like a life time. Hell for $125 I would let someone else do it to just so I wouldn't sweat to death!!!! Lucky for me I have an air conditioned garage at my house!
