The guy who did mine said I came real close to an oil channel when I drilled off center. Fortunately I lucked out. But I guess the key is staying as close to the original hole as possible. I ended up with a helicoil, a larger stud and a hole filled with red Locktite. And a $220 hole in my wallet. GP
