FYI,startron enzym treatment isnt the same ad Stable brand fuel stailizer esp Stabils new Marine Grade fuel stabilizer thats a deep blue almst blk color has been formulated to address the corrsove properties of the fuerls with ethenol.
I have tried both the Startron and Stabils new marine grade fuel stabilizers and for me i feel Satbils new marine grade does a better job but i am sure someone will chime in to say the opposite.
You know ,that will be the person that left fuel lying arround un capped in a fuel can for like 8months to 1 yr then decided to add some fuel staboilizer to it when the ethenol in the fuel had already sucked up plenty of moisture/water and was bascally bad when the stabil was added and wonder why the fuel went bad and messed up a
carb.
I always fill the fuel tank/gas can etc with fresh fuel and stalilize it at the same time & when doing that with the hvy long term storrage dose of 1oz
pr 5 gals dose of marine grade stable & have not had any issues at all.
And stabil also states on the labe you cant overdose is you add too much stabilizer but al;so keep in mind underdosing will get you in trouble with fuel going bad messing up carb so thats why i always run the strongest dose to avoid any issues.
The stronger dose can alswo keep carb & vlves/com chambers cleaner too according to info i read on stabils stie which is good for avoiding
SVS esp if your bike tends to run a little rich too.
And i have 3 motorcycles,a snow blower, lawn more, classic car/69 chevelle ss 396 that all sit for approx 6-8 months at a pop in thier off season non use periods and have had no issues at all when starting up post storrage/begining of thier seasonal use periods.
And in right cond with todays ethenoled pump fuel they can start to go bad in as little as 30-40 days in poor storrage cond with lrg temp variation, plenty of moisture in the environemnt, and expYI,startron enzym treatment isnt the same ad Stable brand fuel stailizer esp Stabils new Marine Grade fuel stabilizer thats a deep blue almst blk color has been formulated to address the corrsove properties of the fuerls with ethenol.

But even stabils reformulated/improved std red colored fuel stailizer doesnt always curt it with todays pump fuel from 1st hand exp i had using that too. It was fine yrs back but i had problems when using todays improved std red colored stabil fuel stabilizer.
