I've found this to be a total PITA for my front tire due to the straight valve stem and spoke rims. Anyone got a fancy pressure guage? And when I put new rubber on can I get a tube like the back tire with angled valve stem?

I agree it's a PIA. I use a 12v cigarette lighter inflator with the snap on type inflator and it has a gauge. I cut the cigarette adapter off and replaced it with alligator clips. None of my gauges other stuff would reach in there. My bike has tubeless tires and I check them once a week and pump if they need it.

I've got a right angle stem on my rear tire. I bought a dial type pressure gauge with the fexable hose at my dealership for like $12.00. I have spokes and I check pressures at least once a week or before any long rides.

Choose the 15" - 16" type B (TR-87 90 degree)

That will work for the front tire?

In the description further down on the page the front tire size is included. Wouldn't hurt to call Motorcycle Superstore though. Or Metzler.

Here is the gauge I use... Accutire gauge It has a 90 degree end instead of the angled end. And it's accurate to 1/2 lb. per a certified gauge where I work. I found all of my pocket stick gauges were way off.
