Gotta be cause I almost blew out one of the boys trying to loosen the bolts. Anyway whadya thinks as far as wear?



Got some new (organic) ones coming Monday.

They look about half worn. Since you have 'em off change 'em anyway.And since your changing the type of pad clean your rotors and take some sand paper and lightly scruff up the new pad surface. It will help them seat better.

The lines in the pad material are the wear indicators, when the lines are gone, the pads are worn out.

Don't know how to attach a web link, but read the information about breaking in your brake pads at the EBC (pad and rotor manufacture) website. Proper break in can extend the life of the pads and rotors.
Good info on brakes.

Kevlar or Double H look like the ones you want. I heard Ceramic last twice as long, but because they are so hard, they take a tole on the rotors. Which ever I replace mine with (when the time comes) will be "Dust free"

Truthfully, factory pads arent that bad...I switched to EBC pads at 32 k , but I still had about 40% of the pads left...the factorys are dirty though...especially the rear , where the wind cant get back there and dispurse the dust.
