+1...I'd wait for a sale and get a new one...mine has been working well for years!

If the hydraulics goes out on it, you'll have to buy a new jack. You can't get just the bottle. Warranty isn't like the hand tool warranty. You usually can get them new on sale for around $80.00.

I have been using one for many years and it has served me well. Paid about $70.00 for it when it was on sale and never regretted it.

I purchased a Red Craftsman 3 years ago and it worked great until recently when the jack started to leak. It will still jack up ok but I need to lock it in the raised position or it will slowly come down. I paid $70 for it.

I have used my Red Craftsman jack for about 5 years. No issues and recommend it highly. I think I paid about $80 for it so you can probably get a new one around that today.

Don't count on the warranty I had mine for over 5 years the rubber treads came off and the handle bent and the round part the handle goes into broke off the frame. I used a chunk of carpet squares to replace the rubber with. I glued it to the platforms pile side down so the rubber is up and wire tied it as well. I welded the round part back on the frame. Also one of the feet that you screw down to hold the jack in place came off and it doesn't roll very well on uneven surfaces. YES I use the jack almost every day on some ones bike. Also watch for nuts falling off. Ya get what ya pay for I gave $69 for mine years ago.Curt this has happen to me to And yes I use it still but if I had to do it over would buy a better one

Hey all,
Got the new one (jack) from the sears site. I ordered online and picked up at store, a new one was marked down from 99 to 85 bucks.. Not bad I thinks... Anyway, if anyone wants it (link) here it is..
