Hi everyone i have a new problem with my cluch thst i can't find a answer for in the forum.my cluch lever is adjusted corectly to the manuel, after starting and cluch pulled in put in first and the bike pulls forward then relaxes.lever released about half way out and engages properly i use moble 20/50 syn. oil. the friction is so great the starter can't turn the engine over when in first with cluch in. symptons emprove the warmer the engine gets.

so are you saying that even with the lever pulled in the bike wants to lurch forward?? these bikes have a wet clutch setup and if the bike sits for a while the plates will stick together for a few seconds then brake free of each other and return to normal try rocking your bike in gear to help break the plates free of each other before you start your bike after its been sitting for awhile

How cold is it where you are? The 20w50 will make things a little stiffer during the winter. Mine is kind of like that although the starter will turn the engine over in gear. Some members have switched to a 10w40 during the winter months.

even after 300 miles and rest for 1 hour its the same cluch in put in first it pulls forward for a couple seconds then relaxes.

i live in ca. desert 120 summer 60 in winter the best rideing anyware.

Mine does that when I start it in gear even after stopping long enough to just fill up. I still remember when mine was new it would sometimes kill the engine when put in gear after a cold start. How many miles on the bike?
