#466941 KevTec (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 33 Spring start-up issues... 1 Year, 2 Months ago   Hi, Don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I'll start here. Had winterized my '08 fuel injected bike, took gas tank off, fogged cylinders, etc. Today, put battery in, attempt to start, electrics are acting 'funny', bike has power and turns over (slowly), but does not start and does not sound 'right', and then the speedo will go thru its initial thing where it goes all the way to the right and back again, multiple times. The fuel tank is full, the console fuel light flashes though, but the gas guage shows full as well. Since I am not really mechanically inclined, what are my options here? One of the only things I do religiously to "Winter'ize" my bike is to keep the battery fully charged. That, and I start it up every two-three weeks and bring it up to operating temperature. Taking the tank off, etc. might be a little over-kill. If that battery goes flat, sometimes they have issues getting all the way back to full. Let us know how it turns out. I'm wondering why the speedo does it's dance multiple times. I think it is flat battery too, so I have battery out and charging on car charger for a couple hours now. I believe all connections are secure, but I will double check each and every one also. Ya gotta keep it on a tender, or run the bike every couple of weeks for awhile.
