Top of oil tank coming apart??!! 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hey all been a while since ive been on here. I've just recently had an oil leak from which I thought was the crackcase but further inspection led to the top of the oil tank loosening up. There were a total of three bolts in all that were semi tight the all the others i could almost unthread by hand! has anyone ran into this before? I need to order another gasket an hopefully get back on the road next week sometime.

To all thats checking their bike now . The loosest ones i had were the easiest to access. If you take the right side cover off. you will have access to if i remember right 5 or 6 bolts for the cover. they are all 5mm allen head screws. Otherwise you would have to take the battery tray out which at least to me wasn't much fun and looks to be even worse going back in. For everyones elses sake I hope it was just my bike but you never know.
