This magnetic drain plug will replace both drain plugs for the oil?

I too Gentleman had the same issue, i used every tool in my vast arsenal. When i called the dealer they told me to elevate the bike on a stand just enough to where i could get a flat cold chisel and a good hammer on it. Whacked that bad boy and she popped loose. I didn't use the 14mm like some on here has suggested i used the original type of plug. Now as part of my weekly checks of the bike i put my shorty wrench and a rubber mallet and loosen it and retighten so it doesn't seize again. Seems to work better doing that.

I had the same issue and a friend was able to cut a groove in the head. Then he welded the screwdriver into the slot. Then used vice grips to turn the plug out. I know if we just would of welded a nut it would of been easier. However that is how we did it.

Why the hell are you doing it cold? Cold engine? Dry ice? That's the way to keep that sucker stuck. I take mine for a short ride around the block so it's warm, but not hot, and it pops right out. Just gotta watch for hot oil.
