#506542 pastornj (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1355 Best Oil Filter? 12 Months ago   What's the consensus on the best oil filter for a roadie? I'm currently running a Fram and Synthetic oil. I just read about a reusable metal filter with a finned aluminum housing - retail $129 - claims to be the best for HDs. I'm guessing it would fit the Roadie as well, but is pretty spendy. Also, is anyone running an oil cooler? If so, what brand? GP - Why K&N over the others? The sites you linked don't seem to show the K&N as all that great - or am I misreading something? I've got an oil change coming up in 2K - put 3k on the bike since I got it and loving it and definitely want to take care of it.
