Went with the K&N cause I was at Advance Auto and it was that or Fram. Not crazy about Fram. Besides the bike was on the lift and needed a filter.

I've ran the supertech in everything that would take it. Don't know the part number, but the Honda Filter will work as well.

Guess I'll figure out my next favorite filter now. And I won't be reading the Fram-bash article to do it. That thing is like 10 years old now!

Looks like the Purolator L14610 for me. $3.27 at WallyMart. BUT the dang thing is white...I wonder if spraying a coat of black paint on it will cause it to hold more heat? Surely a little spraypaint won't insulate the oil filter very much, will it?

Old trick from Muskie is to take one or two hard drive magnets and stick them on the filter. They hold like crazy, believe me. Little extra insurance on top of the magnetic plugs.

I use the K&P Engineering filter, micronic filtration, serves as an oil cooler in a secondary role, no dumping of oil filters again, very happy with mine even though it cost a bit.

I was very reluctant to get the K&P Makcap talked me into it and so happens a dealer with all sorts of styles right up the road and on the shelf (Same one that fits Victory fits Ours)

I love it and it is the only filter I would run, And it has paid for itself. I love seeing what it has done each time I clean it.

Quality stuff, worth the price by far.

Being able to change your oil anytime anywhere not having to worry about buying a new oil filter,

Priceless,
