Thought it was, Add 2 qts, cap it, start it up and rev it easy a few times, and then add the other 2 qts.

He probably did...just didnt say so. ...cause theres no way the 4 qts. will all go in at the same time.

When changing oil always make sure not to let any bubbles get into the oil

You forgot about the part where you leave the dipstick out so the oil tank is open.

Well I just put on new tires so I'm good for 6 months or so. The local Napa puts winter air on sale around October.

I follow the tech article. 2 qts. Ran it for 30 secs or so. Then 2 more qts. Then I hooked up the vacuum pump to pull out the bubbles. I heard that will give me a couple extra horsepower.

I try to learn from others mistakes, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. Gettin' old and forgetin' is for the birds. Now what was I sayin?

Painting it Silver and Gold will give you at least 10 more HP

been there, done that...
also had the privilege of dumping two qts in and have it over flow for some freaking reason
