#525355 twowheeltherapy (User) Land of the FREE Because of the BRAVE Gold Boarder Posts: 641 Major rear fender crack 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I've had a crack growing for a couple years and finally took the fender off and found the sub-frame where the two tabs hold it to the fender have completely split. (I've included a picture, but not sure if it will work) I'm repairing the fender, but can I take this sub-frame to a welder and have him weld a new plate to replace the tabs? Platinum Boarder Posts: 1429 Re:Major rear fender crack 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago   I just repaired mine last weekend. JB-weld and pop rivets. Took some finagling but i got it done. Fiberglassed the inside area and took the sub frame to a welder - 40 bucks.
