10/40 or 20/50? 3 Years, 11 Months ago
I have 6 quarts of Amsoil 10/40 MC oil left over from my old bike, Now it is time to change over to synthetic on my 06 Road Star, What is the best for the bike 10/40 (the manual calls for 20/40)or 20/50? I getting ready to do 3,500 to 4,000 miles in May over 3 weeks. Do I use the oil I have on hand 10/40 or do I go out and buy some new 20/50 Mobil-1 for V-twins? Thanks for your input. Pete

ultrastar: Is anyone planing on going to Star Days this year? its in Reno NV this year thats only about a 5 hour ride for me the last one I went to was in CO. a 2 day ride riding 80 + and 14 hour days
