#70134 TOPNOTCH (User) Git-R-Done Expert Boarder Posts: 443 Brake Pad Life??? 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Just want to know what everyone is getting out of their brake pads. Here in Sunny Cali. I got 16,000 miles out of the Rear pads and 25,000 out of the front. Probely could have gone 30,000 on the front. Those were the stock Yami pads (sumoto). Since I changed them out to EBC pads I have 18,000 on the rear and have about 1/8 inch of pad left. 9,000 0n the front and barly wearing. Well guys I picked a perfect week for vacation. Quick starts and sudden stops = short life; gental starts and gental stops = long life. I spent the last day of my vacation here in the great northeast - where it never got above 42 degrees all week and felt MUCH colder - organizing tools, cleaning the house, and commiserating with blackroadie over his Easter gift of 6" of fresh Illinois snow.
