Any tips on removing exhaust manifold bolts ?

any tips on installing them..like should I use loc tite?

2007 Roadstar 2500 miles

any ideas appreciated...

If you mean the 8MM nut , just remove and replace as normal. No loctite , and do not over tighten as they will break. BB

The exhaust header located at the jugs allen head bolts 2 on each pipe

When I installed my Roadhouse Classics I eliminated the OEM allen nuts entirely. I went with stainless steel washers & hex nuts, then topped them with chrome acorn nuts.

Also, NO to the loc-tite - YES to the anti-seize.

OEM manifold, 190 Main, 37.5 Pilot, Needle (3rd groove, OEM white spacer), Maxmix Pro PMS (2.5 turns out), Accel Pump Duration (1 turn out, nut in front), Float Height (w/carb upside down): 16mm, 43-45 MPG

Tri-Flow....great for breaking up the rust and lubing the thread....great product if anyone here hasnt heard of it..

To get apart spray with PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, Kroil, etc. When putting together use ANTI-SIEZE COMPOND.

probably dont need to do this but when i change pipes i run the bike around town to get it hot and then just loosen the bolts a crack when i get home, may be nothing but a whole bunch of heat cant hurt hah
