Oil level check ...Now you know 5 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Here is a cool video from Star about properly checking your oil level and why you need to do it this way.
You Tube oil video

When that video first showed up I tried it 3 times. Each time I got a different reading. And they all read overfull.

You are supposed to take the average of the three to know your true level

I made sure the wife saw that demo. Now she knows that every night before I check the oil, I gotta go for a ride! Really, I don't want too, but Yami said I had too!

It's an expensive machine. We have to do everything we can to make sure it's well taken care of.

Same as Musky for me to. 3 or 4 times and always different. I just change the oil more often.

Far as I'm concerned the Roadie doesnt have a dipstick. Change the oil with 4 qts., No leaks ever, divide by 26.7, carry the 2,...it's FULL!

That's exactly the way I do it and I don't check it in between changes either.
Oh and while we are on the subject, this Mobile Delvac 1300 15W-40 is some good stuff.
