Battery drain 4 Months ago
On my 99 I had the battery die. I replaced the battery and less than a month later the new battery was dead. I have only been able to ride twice thanks to all this beautiful rain here in Florida.

I was told to do a parasitic check to see what was drawing power from the battery. How do I do this? I was told that all i needed was a test light, is this possible?

it is. Turn the ignition off and remove your key. Disconnect one of the battery cables and use the test light as a link to connect that battery cable back to the battery.

If it stays lit, start taking out fuses from your fuse panel until you find out whats still using power.
