#109397 easyrider003 (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 106 Fast Blinking Turn Signal 3 Months ago   I had a set of passing lamps on my 05 roadstar silverado. I removed and sold them. Now when I use my turn signals, only rear signals, they blink faster than normal. Platinum Boarder Posts: 1027 Re:Fast Blinking Turn Signal 3 Months ago   I don't know about where you live, but here in Georgia turn signals are required...both rear and front. I'd be taking some of that cash you made from selling the passing lamps to install some blinkers of some sort. I think the flashing unit senses when the electrical load isn't correct (i.e., when there aren't 4 bulbs drawing current) and flashes faster so you'll know that there's a bulb out. I believe that replacing the front bulbs will solve the issue of blinkers flashing faster than normal. Otherwise one of the guru's on this board will need to advise you. You can tape or paint them so that they don't 'shine'. Or you need to wire in a couple of resistors to take the load. Or you can buy a load equalizer.
