...The YTX20HL-BS has CCA of 310.

Clifford

yeah that is the one i finally went with.

got it from J&P's, $109. Curt found one for cheaper w/ free shipping. the add only states 240 CCA. I needed some other things as well, so I just got everything out a J&P w/ 1 ship charge.

NO kidding, right? that power lead to the starter is small! that has been bothering me for a while. I gotta replace that.

just curious tt, why did u go w/ bull dog, and not a generic from an auto parts store?

i'm might be looking at a new set of wires/coil(s) if the new battery doesn't solve my rear cylinder not firing syndrome. seriously thinking to up grade if i have to go that route.

also anybody know where to get a good set of plug wires and coils?
I LIKE the nology coils and wires, but the plug wires alone are $68...EACH. yeah 300 times greater spark ain't cheap. a couple years ago i talked to the "man", at sherms cycle. they drag race for a living. he said they are the bomb...if u race. if u don't they are over kill.

about 50% of the sites i hit for dynatek coils either mention or elude to must use w/ dynatek 3000 ing module. the other 50% don't say one way or another. any truth to that? i would love to have a dyna ing mod, but w/ the bat and possibly new coils, this could get expensive real fast.

thanks guys

Re:need a new battery 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
ahhh, flipped me the ole tech article card did ya?

ha! got cha flash.

i read them! it's a great article on how to install the nemesis coil. problem is they are hard to get. i read another thread where members were having difficulty even contacting powdercoatka@aol.com. that thread also posted a reply from the manufacture stating he stopped producing the coils.

so i was just wondering if anybody knows what else is out there.
