I had my speedo out the other night...funny how I had the same idea...and they are just little bulbs that stick out from the circuit board and point up towards the speedo dial. I got as far as getting the circuit board.speedo dial out from behind the bezel...then I chickened out when I got as far having to take the speedo dial off. Even though I KNOW it's electronic, I just had this nightmare vision of little spring and parts falling out as soon as I took the dial off, and I'd have NO idea where they went...

Hey, it was late, I was tired...

For anyone who has done this, is taking the whole speedo dial off by undoing the screws that hold the dial to the circuit board the best way to do it? And are 3, 412 parts the size of gnats gonna shoot everywhere?
