Hey guys,
Yes the ESG752 stator is out to be tested.
I will report back with results as soon as I have them.

Evan

Evan, any word yet on the test results?

The guinea pig is me. I got the installation done Monday (7-27) and rode the bike home with it, and it has been to & fro every day now for the rest of the week, plus whatever else I do. It is working great! I have no Idea as to just what output it is capable of, but it sure beats the stock OEM! I have one of the Kury LED voltmeters, Before the second green light would flicker but would not stay on steady. Now with the high beam & passing lights on the second green is on steady. I have 35 watt passing lamps, I want to replace them with 55's and see what happens.

So far so good! Clifford

Thanks Clifford for the update... please keep us informed... also, let us know what kind of output and under what kind of load when you get a chance...

Hey guys,

I was just about to get you an update, but Clifford beat me to it.

He's testing the ESG752 stator, and everything is going great so far.
We'll get another week of riding on it to make sure, and if all is well, we'll be going to production with these!

I will keep you updated.

Thanks for the interest!

Evan

What will be the amp output rating on these new units? Will the existing rectifier/regulators input rating be able to handle the new stator? input of rectifier on stock units are 35amps. Will the gauge of the wire harness be able to handle the max current output of stator should someone have enough electrical's to pull such a full load?

I have replaced the passing lamp 35 watt bulbs with 55 watt bulbs, so that puts another 40 watt load on the system and as I said before the second green light on the voltmeter is steady as can be. I talked to Evan Wed (8-5-09); he is happy with the result and said that they will put it into production. I have no idea how long it will be untill they are available. It certainly is a drastic improvement over the anemic output of the original!!

By any chance do you know what the output rating of this stator is going to be? I did ask Evan, but have yet to hear from him thru this posting. Is it going to be more than the 35 amp input rating of the rectifier. If so, then the stator will be limited to the input rating of rectifier, unless they come up with a new rectifier to match it.
