Send it to me Steven. I'll make it work for ya. If the new cover is an exact duplicate of the OEM, inside and out, I'd have no clue why it would do that to you, unless it's heating up and expanding somewhere you can't see once it's cooled back down.

dvblair: Has anyone cut off the heel portion of the shifter? I never use it and would like to have the extra room. I would like to remove it but it looks like you would need a spacer on the shaft and I'm not sure ...
