Neutral switch cover problems 2 Years, 6 Months ago
|
|
As a chromaholic's lifetime member I hadn't put any new chrome on in a while, I saw the Neutral switch cover from YamaMama on sale at the bike shop and picked it up. Super easy install and looked great but, now my neutral light comes on and stays on once the bike is warm. I've taken the cover off about 3 times shortened the bolt checked the wires, added electrical tape to the inside of the cover and nothing will make it work right. I put the stock cover back on and it works normal Anyone else have this problem? I just GOTTA have this chrome

That's a head scratcher??? That is one of the first pieces of chrome I put on. The only issue I had was the screw provided with cover was too long so I had to use the non-chrome screw from the stock cover.

Take it off.
Take some black electrical tape and tape it on the inside of the cover.
Put back on.
